Our EIS, powered by Social Solutions' ETO software, is configured so that all participant demographics and attendance data, along with staff and site information, that are entered to the PCAPS database used by DHS-funded OST providers, will be automatically coming over to the EIS on a nightly basis. Providers will then be able to utilize ETO's advanced and highly customizable reporting tools to view information about their programs which will be helpful for program planning and performance management. Additional quality assessment tools have also been built into the EIS, as part of the Quality Improvement Pilot project.
On the city level, this new step forward will give us the capacity to bring together aggregate OST data from the DHS network with data from other OST networks, such as Free Library LEAP, Parks & Recreation, Police Athletic League, and After School Activities Partnerships after-school and summer programs. This new body of information will greatly improve our ability to identify programmatic, geographic, or demographic areas where OST services may be inadequate in Philadelphia, and to discover new opportunities for cross-agency collaboration in offering high-quality out-of-school time opportunities for all Philadelphia youth.
